Notes:
- Collectors seeking to complete the George VI series of Australian coins quickly realise that the three key dates and denominations to look out for are the 1942 (M) Threepence, the 1939 Florin and the 1952 Sixpence. And of course, if you are looking to collect these coins in the highest grades then their rarity is multiplied commensurately. To date both the 1942 (M) Threepence and the 1939 Florin top out at PCGS MS65, and so the 1952 Sixpence PCGS MS66 is the most important George VI coin yet to achieve this grade. This coin was once part of the Benchmark Collection and was originally graded NGC MS66. It was recently crossed at the same grade to PCGS.
