- These bayonets were forged and milled from one solid piece of steel. During the Second Wold War, the British government curtailed the use of commercial trademarks to make it more difficult for the Germans to locate and bomb factories producing war materials. The Government assigned each manufacturer a Dispersal Code to use in lieu of their trademark. N67 refers to the Singer Manufacturing Co., Clydebank, Scotland.
