Identified are: Sergeant (Sgt) J Howell (leaning on a shovel, behind the Howitzer, second from the left); Private Sadler, (centre foreground beside the Howitzers wheel); Sgt Pallbrook (standing behind Sadler); Lieutenant McCullagh (or O'Toole) (extreme right smoking pipe).
