-
Notes:
- During the Georgian and Victorian period it was customary for wealthy young men and women to take a 'Grand Tour' of the continent. Along this journey many items were acquired to be displayed back home as mementos of the places and objects they had seen. The main method of transportation at the time was the horse and carriage symbolised by this souvenir brooch.
