Rare early SHIELD, Coward Springs, SOUTH AUSTRALIA. Carved and engraved hardwood and natural pigments. Oval in form with rounded ends and a handle carved from solid form level with surface. There is continuous fine adzing on both surfaces. It is pigmented.
