Rare Early Lil Lil Club, Darling River Region, New South Wales. Carved and adzed hardwood. Often described as a boomerang-club, this variety could be either thrown or hand held in battle. The fine overall tooling pattern is characteristic that of used on boomerangs and other artefacts from the Darling River Region of New South Wales.
