An error note with the plural spelling of 'shillings' instead of 'shilling'. The nine examples held in the New South Wales State Library Collection make no mention of this error and this is believed to be the only surviving example in private hands

Enoch Kinsella arrived in Sydney in 1806 as a convicted bigamist. He was described as an educated man and by 1807 he was made manager of the Government Salt Works at Rose Bay before he went on to successfully establish himself in business. He issued 'One Shilling' and 'One Shilling & Sixpence' Promissory notes all dated 1813 of which the 'One Shilling' is the rarer denomination.
