Fine early ROOTSTOCK CLUB vunikau FIJI ISLANDS. Carved and engraved hardwood. Fijian Rootstock Club, Vunikau 19th century, ironwood, tree rootstock forms the head of the club, with side roots cut off to leave protuberances, with tavatava-carved grip and dark glossy patina.
