- 'One of the few coins retrieved from the 'Dunbar' at South Head (Sydney) wrecked in 1857 with the loss of 121 lives, there being only one survivor.' They were "recovered by skin diver Gavin Berecy from the wreck which sank at the entrance of Sydney Harbour on 20 August 1857. Mr Peek of 'Peek & Campbell' warehouse (fame) lost his life on this shipwreck." (Renniks)
